El Rinconcito de Arte – The Mercado Art Corner
El Rinconcito de Arte was born in 2024 with a heartfelt mission — to shine a light on Latino artists of all skill levels, experiences, and artistic mediums. From talented high school students to seasoned professionals, this gallery became a welcoming space where creativity had no limits.
Located on the southeast side of the building, it quickly grew into a cultural hub — a place where art and community meet, where stories are shared, and where identity is celebrated. It has touched our community in a powerful way, breaking the misconception that art is “taboo” and showing that being an artist is something to be proud of and embraced.
Its impact was so inspiring that we knew it had to continue in 2025. This year, we again open our doors to local artists, inviting them to share their work with the public every Friday throughout the summer. Each piece tells a story, and together they create a vibrant space for our community to connect, reflect, and embrace the beauty of diverse artistic expression.
